Week 5: Jets vs. Dolphins

It’s been a long time since the Jets have won a game against a divisional opponent. To illustrate that point, the last time that had happened was in December of 2019. Sunday’s game marked an opportunity to get a W, especially against the hated Miami Dolphins. Both teams went into it relatively battered and injury ridden. Metlife Stadium nevertheless was a packed house for fans of both sides on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
While it was a competitive game for most of the duration, things got out of hand in the fourth quarter. The Jets managed to get the win with an offensive onslaught in the fourth quarter 40-17. Gang Green now sits at 3-2 and second place within the AFC East. How did the game breakdown and what emotions was Matt feeling as the quarters came and went?
