After lingering in Scorsese/DiCaprio land for five weeks, Matt and Garrett welcome Adam back to the third seat. But ‘welcome’ might not be as fitting a word as ‘force’. To celebrate the occasion, the boys return to Stephen King land. But what they’re reviewing is still in question, even after the recording has commenced.

After Carrie, Salem’s Lot (which we’re getting to), and The Shining, King needed a little more time to finish his magnum opus, The Stand. But his contract had him needing to put out one book a year. To satisfy his publisher, King put together his very first book of short stories, Night Shift.

Listen in as the boys explain the King created concept of the ‘dollar baby’, review future successful director Frank Darabont’s debut King adaptation “The Woman in the Room”, and Matt and Adam yell at Garrett for having them watch these three film shorts.
