With another Jets season in the books, talk amongst the town has been rampant about who will be under center next year. Everyone from Jimmy G to Derek Carr to Aaron Rodgers has been a suggestion to suit up in green and white….and black alternate duds. In what could be a make-or-break season for the coach and general manager, do any of them give the best chance for both job security and even a Super Bowl berth?
Goudreau has his thoughts on the matter, and it might be different from conventional wisdom amongst Jets fans. Rest assured though, he pleads his case and presents two major options for the team. Should the Jets mortgage the farm for Aaron Rodgers? Can they afford to gamble on Carr hitting free agency and potentially being outbid? There’s pros and cons to both paths but most fans believe that they are the top two guys on the proverbail market.
