The In Your House concept was a way for WWF, in a difficult period for business, to get some extra revenue by providing smaller PPVs outside of their big 4. We aren’t starting with the first show of this name because it predates the “official” start of the Monday Night Wars. We are instead beginning in September of 1995. Big Daddy Cool Diesel was still WWF Champion and partnering with his BFF HBK in a “winner takes all” title match against Yokozuna and Owen Hart. However, for reasons we mention, this match did indeed change before the bell.
