2020 was not a very good year for anybody. But it could be argued that in the movie business, no one had a tougher time getting his movie out than Christopher Nolan. As the world was stuck in a pandemic, Nolan was in a fight to keep the theatrical release date of his film Tenet. All while at the same time, Warner Brothers, the studio he had been making films for almost his entire career, decided to put all their oncoming slate of films on the (at the time) HBO Max streaming service.
