For the latest interview on his patented show Percolated Media Presents, Garrett went back to a series that is near and dear to his heart. When he heard that there was a new documentary called Fredheads, which is a movie about the fandom behind A Nightmare On Elm Street, a series the boys reviewed a few years ago, Garrett felt he had to interview its director as the movie was speaking to him.
In this interview with co-director Paige Troxell, Garrett gets into everything from how she approached making the film, to how she was able to go through each minute of submissions put in by fans hoping to make it into the documentary, to how the actors have responded to the movie. They also talk about the surprisingly personal result of what they made, and Garrett’s own gateway to the series, as well as a whole lot more. Fredheads is being released February 14th through Venn Pictures.
