After ten years and many Clones Wars episodes, the time for a new Star Wars had finally come. Being crafted by director JJ Abrams and co-written by Empire scribe Jonathan Kasdan, as well as funded by the Mouse House itself, Disney, 2015’s The Force Awakens opened and made over $2 billion upon release.

With promises of not making the same mistakes the prequels did, as well as bringing back characters of old to mix in with brand new ones, The Force Awakens had a mighty mountain to climb. But while it was successful financially, do the boys think Episode VII was an overall good movie?

Join Garrett, Matt, and Adam as they all bring their different perspectives on what they were thinking when Episode VII was finally released in December of 2015. They break down the Disney purchase of the property, and of course break the film down scene by scene.

Keep coming back, as The Three Men and a Retrospective are going through the Disney era of Star Wars and finish the retrospective they started last year.
