The NFL season has officially kicked off. No one could be more excited than our very own Matt Goudreau, even though his beloved Jets have been a proverbial eyesore for years. With each new Week 1 comes a sense of renewal and cathartic optimism. Despite starting a backup QB and already battling some major injuries, Matt was hopeful that his team would put up a fight against the Baltimore Ravens. Sunday has come and went but Matt sure has plenty of say.
Before getting into the x’s and o’s, Matt opens the show explaining how this one man podcast came to be. Was this his own design or something encouraged by his fellow site co-founders? Once the preliminaries are out of the way, Matt breaks down his fandom and his expectations going into this season. Was he expecting Gang Green to hoist a Lombardi Trophy? What was feasible for Head Coach Robert Saleh going into his second year? Well, there’s a lot to get into.
