With the exception of sadists like Garrett and Matt, no one -especially Adam- was clamoring for a remake of Maximum Overdrive. But in 1997, armed with a script from Poltergeist 3 scribe Brian Taggert, a Canadian production company took it upon themselves to do just that. But with a more serious approach to Stephen King’s 16 page story, could 1997’s Trucks possibly be better?
